Starting out as a marginal Liner shipping Company with just 19 vessels, the SCI has today evolved into the largest Indian shipping Company.The SCI also has substantial interests in various segments of the shipping trade.

Qualification :
1.Assistant Manager (Civil) : First class four years full time Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a AICTE approved institute of repute is desirable
2.Company Secretary : Membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries, India. First class Degree in Law through a full time course of three years after graduation or five years after 12th Standard from a recognised institute of repute is desirable.

Experience :
1.Assistant Manager (Civil) : Work experience preferred in a Construction Company
2.Company Secretary :  At least 8 years (as on 31.10.2013) including 3 years experience

Salary :
1.Assistant Manager (Civil) : Rs 20600-46500/-
2.Company Secretary : Rs 24900-50500/-

Age Limit :
1.Assistant Manager (Civil) : 27 years
2.Company Secretary : 35 Years
